CET i.e Common Entrance Test
Stete Technical University opens new dimension for the learners to numerous technical courses. Some 15 thousand seats in the state of West Bengal at 110 colleges will be filled by CET. These courses include BBA, BCA, Hospital Management, Biotechnology, Sports Management, Nautical Sc., Clinical Optometry, and a lot of  other technical courses.

JET for admission to Engineering colleges is just over and even IIT & AIEEE, All India Hotel Management exam including JEXPO for Diploma Engineering, a state level exam is finished on May 6th. and some are publishing their results.

So whats now?

If you have missed all these trains towards a successful career, there is still remaining a last chance.Yes CET. CET can be your gateway for a successful career with numerous career opportunity ranging from BBA to BSc. in Microbiology.

What are the Qualifications?

Well, English at 10+2 is a must for each course. B.C.A and Nautical Sc. demands at least one subject from Math, Business Mathematics, Computer Application, Computer Sc., or IT. Physics and Chemistry including math or any one subject from Biological SC. is a prerequisite for Bio-Technology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Genetics.

Just 10+2 is the passport for admission to BBA, Hospital Management, and Hospitality Management.
BCA and Nautical Sc. exam will consist questions related to English, Math, Series and Logical Reasoning whereas Molecular Biology will consist Physics ( Optics ), Chemistry, Logical Reasoning, English, math. and Life SC. Other exams will consist G.K, Logical Reasoning. English and Numerical Ability.


The CET exam will be conducted on June 17 th. 2012 at Calcutta North & South, Kharagpur, Durgapur, Bhubaneswar, Siliguri, Kalyani, Alipurdwar, Behrampur, Ranchi including Agartala, Patna and Gwahati. Time scheduled for the exam. is 2 hours.

Application forms can be obtained up to June 4th. from all the colleges of State Technical University including the web site www.wbut.ac.in
